adding a new JAVA applcaition server

Hi All,

I am having 5 application servers (JAVA ) and DB on a separate server , due to high traffic I would like to add an extra Java application server.

For this I would like to know the best practice or how we can added a new Application server to the already existing servers and make it to serve the content.

Any document , PDF would be a great help. Please do let me know your thoughts on this.
