Hi,
Changing the basic UOM is possible only on certain status as follows:
1. If there are no stocks in current and previous period.
2. If there are stocks in the previous period you can clear them as follows:
a) Post the stock in the previous period to the current period. E.g., Using Movement Type 561, so that the stock in the previous period is same as current period.
b) Clear the stock with the posting date in the previous period. E.g., Using movement Type 562.
3. No procurement element should exist e.g., NO PR, NO PO or Schedule Agreement or Production Order, Reservation etc. for the material.
